Susanne Kling has been working for Weber Automotive in personnel management since January of 2015. As an adviser, she mostly provides support to trainees and dual students, conducts interviews, and organizes team-building activities. Before she came to Weber, the 27-year-old completed training to become a banking specialist in her hometown of Biberach, where she first came in contact with human resources. She quickly noticed that the subject suited her, and this awoke her ambition and led her to a decision. She took a year to catch up on her vocational school qualification and then went to Stuttgart to study business psychology at The Stuttgart Technology University for Applied Sciences (HFT) with a focus on HR and consulting. Also, during a six-month internship in Australia, she worked intensively and hands-on with the subject of HR development. She got her bachelor's degree in August of 2014 and began to look around for an job that would meet her needs - and finally encountered Weber Automotive. In her job interview, she didn't just make a convincing impression. She was also impressed – by Weber, the exciting development of the company, by its dynamic growth in recent years. Despite not being a technician, "I wanted to do something new anyway," says Kling. Here, at a company in the automotive industry, a wide range of responsibilities awaits. This required "knowing what happens in production, having the overview," she says. That alone is a challenge. She is convinced that she can actively help to shape the change process of the company and develop herself further here. In a young, dynamic team, in which she feels comfortable all around. She feels that this is possible in a family business with a unique atmosphere. She has done well with Weber. And we with her.
