Suedkurier, October 24, 2005 With loads of horsepower and a quantum leap in terms of environmental protection, the Weber Motor Corp. has set a new standard at the Jetski World Championships in the USA. At their world premičre, Austrian manufacturer Hydrospace won four world championship titles in five leagues as well as an additional second and three third places. Markdorf– It is impressive that Hydrospace had a terrific start-up success at the Jetski World Finals in Lake Havasu, Arizona. Almost all competing watercraft of the nearly 2000 participants were provided by renowned world corporations such as Kawasaki and Yamaha, which have been dominating the scene for years with their 2-stroke engines.

Hydrospace watercrafts equipped with MPE750 Weber engines not only reset the standard for the competition in terms of horsepower, but also achieved a quantum leap concerning environmental protection – owing to the 4-stroke Weber engine. Even though the Weber engine has 110 horsepower to show- while competitors engines range between 80 and 90 hp, the MPE 750 Weber engine consumes some 40 percent less gasoline on average while burdening the environment with a mere 10 percent of emissions compared to 100 percent environmental pollution by 2-stroke engines, as being used by the complete competition. This technologically ideal and advanced environmental protection is topped by the fact that the 4-stroke engine operates without any oil-pollution whatsoever for the waters – contrary to the blue oil exhaust emitted by the 2-stroke engines. “Weber Motor of Markdorf, Germany has thus set a new standard”, so company executives state in a press release. For this reason, the four world championship titles are almost invaluable and deserve tremendous respect. Management board and executives of the Weber Motor AG and the Albert Weber GmbH have therefore expressed high recognition, congratulations and special thanks to their employees. The world championship success puts both the watercraft manufacturer Hydrospace as well as the Markdorf-based engine manufacturer Weber to the challenge for further competition in 2006 to prove if their success can be topped.
