Weber Motor powers Hydrospace to 12 TitelsWorlds first four stroke powered standup “cleans” up at event.(Lake Havasu City, AZ, USA) – October 8, 2006 – Riders of the Weber Motor powered Hydrospace S4 captured 12 titles at the Quakeysense IJSBA World Finals this past week. This was the 25th anniversary of the prestigious event and offered special satisfaction to the 2006 world champions crowned in Lake Havasu, the PWC mecca of the world.
Brice Lopez, a professional racer from France won the Pro-Ski class with an impressive performance in three motos, going 2-1-1 for a combined overall first in the week’s most prestigious race. A seasoned veteran from Canada, Mike Klippenstein took first in an unprecedented five classes – Pro-Am Ski Stock, Expert Ski LTD, Expert Ski Stock, Expert Veterans Ski Open and Amateur Ski Open while his wife Carla won the Masters Ski Stock class.
Nico Lasselsberger won two Junior Ski 13-15 titles and a slalom title while Brandon McMillan took the Junior 10-12 Stock Ski crown. Norwegian Lars Myntevik won in Novice Ski Stock to round out the impressive week for Weber Motor and Hydrospace.

The Weber MPE-750 not only powers the world’s first four-stroke stand-up ski, but also has the distinction of having achieved the California Air Resource Boards certification for Ultra-Low (3 star) emissions. This makes the Hydrospace S4 the only standup PWC allowed to be retailed in California and New York state.
